OUR MUSEUM AND GIFT SHOP
IS CLOSED FOR THE WINTER
NEW EXHIBITS FOR 2017 - We spent the winter of 2015/16 inventorying and reorganizing the entire museum - This was one BIG job. But visitors will find the 'new' museum so much more interesting. We added loads of photos and posters explaining what you see displayed. We moved the exhibit on Island bars, saloons and restaurants to make room for this year's exhibit.
2017 featured a Kelleys Island Kitchen - you know, the one your Grandma had. Did you know that they had a (somewhat) automatic bread machine in the early 1900's? And remember all those wood handled kitchen utensils. Depending on what we find in our collection, we might have everything but the kitchen sink (and stove).
HELP US by sharing your stories and pictures. What is YOUR favorite memory from your Grandma's kitchen?
